The company is TierAge, and
the product is TierOne. It is a
Windows program that
improves PC performance by
optimizing file access. The
optimization is done through
a new technology called
Storage Tiering.
You will need a Solid State
Drive (SSD) installed in your
PC to get the most benefit
from TierOne. SSD are
readily available and prices
continue to fall. Then you
purchase a license and run
the program.
TierOne is reasonably priced,
because we know SSD are
somewhat expensive, and we
want your total cost to be less
than a memory upgrade.

My kids' PC grew slower, until everyone was using mine. Four years ago, theirs was a nice PC, but it had become nearly unusable. Just to log on to
Windows took minutes, and browsing the Internet was painful, even though we upgraded our ISP. It seemed the HDD activity light was permanently
on. I used a clean-up utility, and it did help some, at least for a while. Then I discovered TierOne. First I used it on a second HDD, and that alone
made a noticeable improvement. I used its "Unwind" button to revert back to a clean system, and then tried a SSD. Now, to log on to Windows is
instantaneous, and browsing the Internet is smooth and painless. The kids love their computer again, and it saved me from having to buy a new one.
"This is not another clean-up utility - this is new technology." "It is like adding memory to your computer...and a lot of it!"
"Finally, someone figured out how to use SSD in a PC." "All my PCs are faster now, old and new, 32 and 64 bit."
